Fireside Fridays at Fireside Café in East Earl features a variety of live music, corn hole, door prizes and other fun activities every Friday throughout summer from 6 to 9 p.m. At this point, we really have no idea how long it will be until we can reopen. While the Fireside Cafe part of the building was largely unaffected, the infrastructure that serves the cafe (storage, water supply, etc.) was severely damaged.įireside will be temporarily closed until further notice. On Saturday, August 27, the Keystone Custom Decks facility (where Fireside is located) experienced a devastating fire. We have enjoyed being a part of our community in this way. We appreciate your support for the past several years. Next year, when we are closer to the construction completion date, we will make a decision on what the future of Fireside looks like. Of course, we cannot practically run a coffee shop in the middle of a construction zone, so we have made the difficult decision to close Fireside Cafe for the foreseeable future. Estimates now are that demolition and reconstruction will take six to nine months. As the past week has progressed and we’ve received more information about the extent of the damage our facility has sustained, it has become clear that this will not be a short process.
